As you say all the early stories were relatively free-standing so this was easy enough to do . After PRODIGAL SON the continuity becomes more important.

Syd’s work – and art in particular – obviously evolved as the stories progressed so were you just providing a wider range of story/art styles to the readers or was there perhaps a problem with the source material? This isn’t a complaint btw – I’m just being curious – I’m extremely happy to get the strips in whatever format is available.
