New member here so forgive me if this has been answered before but was wondering why the stories weren't printed in chronological order in Cosmos. It isn't such a problem with the original Hawke stories as there isn't a lot of story-to story continuity there but in later ones (originally the McLane material) many of the stories are linked or at least referenced in later stories. Syd's work - and art in particular - obviously evolved as the stories progressed so were you just providing a wider range of story/art styles to the readers or was there perhaps a problem with the source material? This isn't a complaint btw - I'm just being curious - I'm extremely happy to get the strips in whatever format is available.
Cheers!
