The aristarchus in 3D!
Chris has faithfully reproduced a striking model of one of hawke’s earliest space vehicles and once again underlined how the thinking of the Fifties influenced the imagery of the strip, in this case the kind of giant craft envisaged by Werner von Braun the creator of the infamous V2 of World War 2’s last month.
